Select/Unselect group
Gray +, Gray - and Gray * on the numeric keypad.

These three commands allow you to select and unselect a group
of files. With Gray + and Gray -, a dialog box appears
into which you can type DOS wildcard characters to specify
which files to select or unselect. For example, "*.doc"
selects all the files with the .doc extension.

The Gray * key inverts the current selection by unselecting
all the files which are selected, and selecting all the files
 which are not selected.

Note: You can use Select group in conjunction with
Unselect group (Gray -) and Ins
(to select/unselect a single file) to mark any group
          of files.

Restore Selection
This command can be used to restore a previously selected
group. So if you have just copied a group of files to a
directory and want to recopy them somewhere else you can
restore the selection group and simply copy them again.
